FPL GW4 šŸ¦

Letā€™s get straight into it.

šŸŽÆ Best fixtures & players to target for GW4

Best offensive fixtures ā©ļø

Manchester City at home against Fulham

  • Although City vs. Sheffield was no blow-out last weekend, the Etihad has become a tough place to visit in recent seasons.

  • City tend to score (a LOT) at home, and Fulham will be without Calvin Basseyā€” though Tim Ream will return in his stead.

  • The biggest thing to look out for is if Joao Palhinha transfers to Bayern Munich before Fridayā€™s deadlineā€” without him, this will be a rout for Cityā€¦ it could be with him as well.

Tottenham away to Burnley

  • Spurs are creating chances for fun this season with Ange at the helm & James Maddison dictating play. Expecting 2-3 goals from Spurs in this fixture.

  • Burnley have been fairly toothless in matches (albeit difficult ones) against City & Villa this season. They will have a point to prove.

Brentford at home against Bournemouth

  • Brentford have had a great start to the season besides their draw to Crystal Palace at home.

  • Even without Ivan Toney, they have been creating plenty of chances & conceding few. Take a look at this graph here ā¤µļø

  • Bournemouth, on the other hand, have been conceding some of the most chances in the league throughout the first 3 GWs.

West Ham away to Luton

  • Moyesā€™ men have been in red-hot form to start the season, scoring 7 & conceding 3 through their first 3 matches. šŸ„µ

  • Luton, on the other hand, have been nothing short of abysmal. They are a defense that everyone should be targeting in FPLā€” conceding 7 in 2 matches.

  • Expect the Hammers to strike the iron while itā€™s hot. āš’ļø šŸ”„

Best defensive fixtures āŖļø

Manchester City at home against Fulham

  • Let us again refer to the chart of xG for & xG against so far this season šŸ‘‡ļø

    • Yes, thatā€™s Fulham all the way down there with Luton & Burnley

Crystal Palace at home against Wolves

  • Palace have only conceded 2 goals in 3 matches so far this season, and you can see on the chart above that they donā€™t concede great chances either. Hodgsonā€™s way! šŸ”’ļø šŸ’Ž

    • They have the 4th-lowest xG against this season.

  • On top of that, Wolves are extremely dangerous on the counter attack but have been quite terrible at finishing their chances.

    • They have scored 2 goals in 3 matches, with a negative xG difference per 90 minutes so far this season.

Brentford at home against Bournemouth

  • Refer to chart above! šŸ

  • Brentford have conceded 2 goals to Spurs & 1 to Crystal Palace, this weekendā€™s matchup vs. Bournemouth at home is still quite favorable.

Best players šŸƒ

Forwards

  • Erling Haalandā€” enough said

  • Julian Alvarezā€” has started all 3 PL matches thus far in the KDB ā€œSS/#10ā€ role

  • Nicolas Jacksonā€” got his first goal last week & looks raring to go. Playing NFO at home.

Midfielders

  • Mohamed Salahā€” at home to Villa who have conceded many goals (as long as he doesnā€™t leave Liverpool before the deadlineā€¦)

  • Bryan Mbeumoā€” at home vs. Bournemouth; Brentfordā€™s talisman in Toneyā€™s absence. On FKs & PKs.

  • Bukayo Sakaā€” loves a game vs. United, is on PKs, & least droppable of the ARS midfielders.

  • Jarrod Bowenā€” plays Luton away, red hot form, great connection with Antonio.

  • Phil Fodenā€” if he can get on the field vs. Fulham at home thereā€™s potential for points.

  • James Maddisonā€” Burnley (A), been in red-hot form as of late!

Defenders

  • Pinnockā€” home to BOU, potential for a clean sheet, huge aerial threat

  • Chilwellā€” one of the best attacking DEFs in the game. Gets into threatening positions up the pitch. Playing NFO at home.

  • Udogieā€” Burnley at home, getting high up the pitch in attack, cheap.

  • Palace defenderā€” Wolves at home & arenā€™t conceding much. Cheap as well!

Goalkeepers

  • Edersonā€” pricey but has FUL (H), WHU (A), NFO (H), WOL (A)

  • Vicarioā€” BUR (A), Sheffield (H)

  • Sanchez šŸ¤Ø ā€” NFO (H), BOU (A) coming upā€¦ although Chelsea have been shaky in defenseā€¦
