MANCHESTER CITY 3-PEAT PL CHAMPS 🔵 ⚪️ 🏆️

Pep Guardiola has taken this team to the promised land. The feat is incredible, but a UCL and FA Cup win can immortalize the club & Pep.

Arsenal pushed them for 8 months but hit a wall. Let’s see how it went.

Here is the moment 🎥

Arsenal lost yesterday to Nottingham Forest, which clinched the title for City.

This Manchester City side could be the most complete of Pep Guardiola’s reign. They have many ways to beat you, which has not always been the case in his time at the club. Time will tell how far they go, but enjoy them celebrating their great comeback title here. ⤵️

Can they win the treble? 👀

But it wasn’t in City’s hands 6 weeks ago 🌠 📉

Arsenal’s collapse leaves a bitter taste at the end of a mostly-brilliant season 🔻 🏳️

Arsenal since the international break.

What happened to the Gunners? 🔻

Arsenal had a thrilling season but were derailed by multiple injuries to key players.

Their opponents in City are impervious to injuries with their deep & expensive bench.

But that does not fully explain the falloff in performance by Arsenal since the start of April.

Only 9 points from their last 8 matches shows a drop off a cliff mentally.

  • Draws vs. West Ham (15th) & Southampton (20th) 🤢

  • Losses vs. Brighton (6th) & Nottingham Forest (16th) 🤮

Could it have been prevented? 🛑

Yes, Arteta definitely could have experimented sooner when performances started falling off.

  • But recent losses against Brighton & Forest show that this may not have changed much of anything.

Questions will have to be asked about who in the squad has the guts to fight for titles in the future.

This can be a learning moment for young players. Arteta has his work cut out.

Bringing in reinforcements this summer could help, but may not be as important as filtering through who they have currently at the club first. 🪓

MARCO ROSE HELPS OUT FORMER CLUB BY BEATING BAYERN 🟡 ⚪️

Dortmund can go top of the table tonight 👀

With one point separating Bayern and Dortmund with 2 matches to go, RB Leipzig was the final hurdle for Bayern.

Marco Rose, now the manager of RB Leipzig, threw salt on Bayern’s UCL elimination wounds by beating them 3-1 at the Allianz arena.

Dortmund can now go 2 points above Bayern with a win vs. Augsburg this evening.

Tough look for Bayern 🙃

Sacking Julian Nagelsmann over the March international break took the football world by surprise.

  • Bayern leaders did not see eye to eye with him, and decided to take Tuchel before he was off the market.

  • Many applauded this ruthless approach and saw Tuchel as Bayern’s answer to Manchester City in the Champions League.

After being destroyed by Manchester City in UCL, eliminated from the DFB Pokal, and now potentially beaten to the title by Dortmund— questions must be asked.

Dortmund will look to top the Bundesliga table tonight, and win it next weekend. Let’s see how it all shakes out. 👀
